When we were in Anacortes while Sean was deployed and I was pregnant with Adi,
Jack fell in love with Chippy, Uncle Tyler's extra special childhood friend.
It broke her heart, but Grandma Jean let us borrow him.
Of course as soon as we got home, Chippy was completely forgotten.
Well good news, Chippy is baaaack! Jack found him downstairs and has been dragging him around for 24 hours now.
Let's hope the love continues, Jack has never been attached to any other snuggle friends.
Max is capturing "Daddy Willie" spiders with the cones.
(We didn't teach him that, but haven't corrected the confusion either.)

On Father's Day we went for a family walk, and Jack got some
biking practice.
This was our first time really working on it with him, and
so the ride was rather whine-laden. Until Sean figured out how to
help him along when he gets stuck.

Happy Father's Day to all the fabulous Papas out there! I'll put up more tomorrow but here's a video
of Adi's first real crawling.
(We were huddled around the laptop eating lunch and watching the Ghana-Australia game.)
Only Grandpa Keith can watch it.
Unless he wants to share.

Sean's plan to replace the boys' Mama shirt nighttime attire
with more manly Papa shirt jammies did not exactly go as planned.
In huh-uuuuge news, Adi is day(s) away from crawling.
She's been pretty good at getting where she wants to go for a few weeks,
through a combination of rolling and doing this weird half scooch/half pull thing
on one shoulder which I kind of captured here.
She's perfected army crawling in the past few days
and has been trying to get up on her toes/knees.
This is her last night, so close!
That lying-to-sitting thing is new too.
